Zawar Hussain
About Me
I am currently a Lecturer in Data Science at Sydney Polytechnic Institute Sydney Australia. I am also a Junior Visiting Research Fellow at University of New South Wales (UNSW) and an Honorary Research Fellow at Macquarie University Sydney Australia. I did my PhD from Macquarie University in 2022. I am a recipient of the International Research Training Program Scholarship from the Commonwealth Government of Australia. I did my Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Computer System Engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI) Pakistan in the years 2013 and 2015, respectively.
My area of research includes Pervasive Computing, Data Analytics, Machine Learning,the Internet of Things, Human Activity Recognition, Ambient Assisting Living, Digital Health, Remote Healthcare, Time Series Data, and Active Queue Management.

- June 2022- Conferred with the title of “Honorary Research Fellow” at Macquarie University.
